The bridge and Hoveton centre
This is the practical starting point for a short stay involving a boat trip, shops and an evening meal. Both researched hotels are physically in Hoveton on the north side of the Bure. Compare the exact room and route from Hoveton & Wroxham station.
Good for: First Broads visits and a short break without moving accommodation.
Before you choose: The bridge area is a busy visitor hub, not a secluded waterside retreat. Check stairs, parking and room outlook; the Hotel Wroxham name does not mean it is on the Wroxham bank.
The Wroxham side and addresses farther from the bridge
Use the map to compare accommodation beyond the central boating hub when you want to spend more time at the property. A specific cottage or guesthouse may fit a longer stay, but check the actual access and distance to meals rather than choosing on a broad Wroxham label.
Good for: Longer stays where space and the immediate setting matter more than central convenience.
Before you choose: A waterside property may have open water beside it, and road routes may differ from what appears close across the river. The two hotel examples below are in Hoveton, not evidence of a shortlist on this side.
