Drop bags at the chosen hotel and identify the National’s auditorium entrance. A first walk along the river is useful orientation without committing to another timed booking.
Make Tate Modern on Bankside the main daytime outing, selecting a few galleries rather than trying to see everything. General collection access and separately ticketed exhibitions differ. Return for a rest and a meal before the National performance.
