Yes. Rosemoor House has three holiday apartments with special garden access. The operator offers three, four or seven-night stays with Monday or Friday changeovers, rather than a normal one-night hotel booking.
No. Rosemoor House does not accommodate children under 14 or pets. Families with younger children should compare accommodation elsewhere, even though they can visit the public garden.
Barnstaple is the useful station for the 5B bus connection described by the RHS. Umberleigh is nearer geographically but has no regular bus to the garden, so it needs a different onward arrangement.
Do not assume that. The RHS warns that the A3124 approach is busy and has no footpaths. Its alternative Tarka Trail connection includes an unfinished river-path surface, so use the published route and assess it for your group.
The RHS describes the 5B entrance service as Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. Check the current timetable and arrange another transfer for days when it does not operate.
