Enter through the visitor centre on Ocean Terminal’s second floor. Heading straight to the waterfront or the ship’s hull will not substitute for the signed indoor entrance route.
Use Ocean Terminal for Britannia. Fingal directs its own guests to Port of Leith, a different stop; check the destination of each journey rather than using the hotel stop automatically.
The operator suggests around two hours for the tour. The State Apartments, Crew’s Quarters and Engine Room give it different sections, and a refreshment stop can extend that. Avoid an onward reservation immediately after the estimate.
Standard visits can be booked online or bought on arrival subject to the operator’s arrangements. Enhanced guided experiences have their own advance-booking rules. Decide which experience you want before matching it to hotel dates.
