Less time? For one night, keep the High Hall and burial-ground route, then choose only one town-side stop; leave a longer woodland walk or Ipswich Waterfront for another stay.

From Melton, the National Trust route crosses Wilford Bridge and climbs the hill before the signed driveway, so allow for an uphill approach. The National Trust lists a bus from Woodbridge to the entrance, but verify a current service and return before relying on it.
No. High Hall uses replica and some original Sutton Hoo objects to explain the Anglo-Saxon world. Visit the burial mounds for the landscape and Tranmer House for the 1939 excavation story; do not expect a single room containing every original grave good.
The National Trust describes an accessible route from the visitor area and a ramp to the first level of the viewing tower.
