The National Trust gives Shepreth as the nearest station, five miles away, and identifies taxis from Royston. Bus 75 from Cambridge stops at Arrington about one mile away or Orwell about two miles away. Check the road and footpath route and return timetable before choosing a car-free day.
The National Trust says its Whole Estate ticket includes the Hall, Gardens, Parkland and Home Farm, with no pre-booking system for normal daytime admission. Check the calendar because these parts have different opening times.
