The National Trust’s house tour covers principal rooms and basement service areas, including the tunnel. Ask at reception whether the current tour route and steps suit your party; photography is not allowed inside the mansion.
The lake and estate have their own access calendar. The National Trust’s Lake Walk starts at the visitor car park and uses a mostly gentle gravel path; check today’s grounds admission and conditions before arriving only for a walk.
The Beech and Lake Walk trails allow dogs on short leads across the property. Dogs may also enter the tearoom on a short lead, but cannot enter the mansion or grazed farmland; guide dogs are excepted indoors.
